A mainstay of the Omaha, Nebraska indie scene, Tim Kasher is the leader of the bands Cursive and The Good Life. Both bands release records on the Omaha-based Saddle Creek label, a label founded by Kasher's childhood friend Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes, Desaparecidos).
'The Recluse' is from Cursives 2003 album The Ugly Organ.
