In 2004, M83 founder members Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau parted ways. However, the M83 name lived on as Gonzalez's solo vehicle.
The first album following Fromageau's departure was 2005's Before The Dawn Heals Us. Moving to a more refined electro-pop sound, the first single from the album was the soaring 'Don't Save Us From The Flames'.
